Responsibilities
Reviews new orders in SAP for correctness and schedules daily production
Creates, organizes, files and distributes instructions as needed
Performs Shipping process to include small parcels (UPS, FedEx), skids (LTL)
Assists In developing and executing methods/procedures to improve Shipping process
Performs other duties that may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be Forklift Certified
MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
UPS/FedEx Shipping software
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
RF Scanner
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to work in a fast paced warehouse/office environment
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one interactions with other employees
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Stand on your feet for up to 8-10 hours a day in a fast-paced environment
Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
May be exposed to various chemicals, such as weld gas, spatter spray, and cleaners
The noise level in the environment is loud, and hearing protection is required
