Lead Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development, testing, implementation, review, and evaluation of complex solutions in an agile, collaborative environment
Provide programming support for complex solutions by developing software from established requirements and deploying code appropriately
Assess feasibility of system designs and recommend technical improvements
Provide production support and troubleshooting using strong communication and customer service skills
Recommend improvements to development practices, maintenance processes, and technical standards
Contribute to the design of technology infrastructure and system configurations
Review and evaluate complex patches and new application versions
Implement complex software packages and deploy application code
Compile and maintain technical documentation, including use cases, scripts, and implementation guides
Conduct technical research and stay current with emerging technology trends
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects
Support on-call rotations and extended work hours as required
Travel occasionally, including overnight stays, up to 15%

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience with IBM ACE / WebSphere MQ, including API-SG, MQ, and MFT
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud technologies, including: Serverless, Lambda, RDS, EC2, Storage services, Migration services
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Strong knowledge of messaging-based middleware, AWS API Gateway, and integration technologies
Proficiency in NodeJS, Python, or Java
Experience working with JSON and XML data formats
Ability to create alerts and monitoring dashboards for metrics and logs
Experience working in Agile environments, including daily scrums and status updates
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions
High attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language
Broad understanding of software design, implementation, and testing principles
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to gather business requirements
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and system complexities

Preferred

Security experience, including: IAM roles, Kerberos, Authorization (AuthZ), Encryption (wire-level)
DevSecOps experience with: CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins
