Responsibilities
Support all lifecycle phases of Systems Engineering to include analysis of alternatives, architecture development, system software, hardware and software integration, lab and open-air testing, and system deployment
Provide knowledge of systems engineering methods to assess and evaluate the status, effectiveness, and efficiency of programs and technologies, to include system of systems analysis
Apply digital engineering to the systems engineering process and integrate digital system engineering with OEM processes and products to maximum extent possible
Provide programmatic and technical knowledge that is informed by a comprehensive understanding of the greater mission context, DoD systems development processes, and stakeholder roles and requirements to ensure concepts, ideas, and expectations are communicated accurately and effectively among all customers
Provide subject matter expertise on engineering processes, standards, options, and documentation processes for application to rapid development and acquisition programs
Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to minimize costs, schedule, and technical risk and maximize effectiveness
Review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with the product requirements and applicable standards
Work with Army, OSD, and DoW organizations and related staff processes associated with the DoD acquisition process
Provide effective verbal and written communication skills while adapting communication styles to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions and develop accurate written materials to clearly and concisely communicate information
Qualification
Required
MS in an Engineering field
20 years of aerospace technical experience
Some travel
Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
