Responsibilities
Involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process
Design and execute test automation solutions
Follow the latest developments in your field
Have experience working on different automation tools such as UFT and Selenium
Develop and execute automation scripts
Resolve technical issues wrt automation
Provide input to improve effectiveness
Mentor junior engineers
Significant hands on experience using tools like Selenium/WebDriver(JS), Cucumber (JS), Protractor, Nightwatch, Cypress, Playwright
Experience creating a UI automation framework, API testing framework, lambda testing, API gateway testing
Know standard commands for code and deploy process
Must have experience in Agile/SCRUM and experience in using the Jira Agile toolset
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of JavaScript Test Automation Frameworks
Experience testing NodeJS services (or equivalent JS framework) hosted on cloud
Experience testing Web Application (ReactJS equivalent JS Frameworks)
Significant hands on experience using tools like Selenium/WebDriver(JS), Cucumber (JS), Protractor, Nightwatch, Cypress, Playwright
Experience creating a UI automation framework, API testing framework, lambda testing, API gateway testing
Git: Know standard commands for code and deploy process
Scrum/Jira: Must have experience in Agile/SCRUM and experience in using the Jira Agile toolset
Languages: Javascript/Typescript
