Technical Project Manager Summer Intern

Responsibilities
Developing professional skills necessary to run complex projects from design and development to production
Manage requirements and scope
Support and build experience managing complex project/programs from design and development to production
Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment
Develop plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones for implementation
Define project resources. Manage project resource hours, project costs, and project budgets
Efficiently identify and understand project and technical issues and business implications
Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Capable of handling multiple diverse and complex assignments concurrently
Direct people leadership experience
Adhere to a set schedule
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary course of study, preferably in Project Management, Technical Project Management, Technology or Business-related field
Interested in a career path of project management or technical project management in an IT or software development field
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness
Preferred
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
Experience or familiarity with Smartsheet, MS project, or MS Excel a plus
Experience or familiarity with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Tempo (timekeeping) a plus
