They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their Mission Critical group to work collaboratively on design solutions for data centers and telecommunications facilities, requiring creativity and innovative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Architects, Engineers and Construction Managers to provide innovative design solutions to projects during all phases of design
Interface with clients, owners and contractors
Design air-side mechanical systems, including DX and chilled water AHU’s, ductwork sizing, and computer room air-handling units
Design water-side mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and piping
Provide HVAC load calculations
Responsible for project phasing plans including temporary measures to maintain services in our client’s live facilities
Facilitate facility evaluations, engineering studies, and troubleshooting
Train, coach and mentor less experienced staff
Qualification
Required
BS in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Must be a Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in at least one state
At least 10 years of related experience with at least 2 years of data center mechanical design experience
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Interest in working in a collaborative team environment
Ability to perform site walks in active facilities, including navigating mechanical rooms, rooftops, ladders, and equipment areas
Capability to travel between job sites and client facilities as needed
Preferred
AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 experience a plus, but not required
