5+ years expAtlas Connections is partnering with a design firm to hire a Senior UPS Field Service Engineer to support data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This is a hands-on field role focused on UPS commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting across a regional customer base.

Responsibilities
Commission / start up UPS systems and related critical power equipment at customer sites
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting down to the component level; complete repairs and return-to-service activities
Execute preventive maintenance and operational testing; document work performed and findings
Coordinate on-site activities and communicate clearly with customers and internal technical resources
Follow established safety practices, SOPs, and service/reporting standards
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of hands-on UPS / critical power field service experience
Strong experience with equipment such as UPS, batteries, PDU, STS, and related distribution/critical power gear
UPS OEM factory training or equivalent OEM experience (e.g., Vertiv/Liebert/Emerson, APC/MGE/Schneider, Eaton/Powerware)
Comparable OEM backgrounds considered
Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
Technical degree preferred (or equivalent field experience)
