QA/Test Automation Engineer

New Jersey Hospital Association is looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in automated testing for web applications. The primary focus of this role is ensuring the quality and reliability of modern web-based systems, which includes developing automated test frameworks and performing various types of testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web-based systems
Validate UI/UX behavior, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness
Verify application data and business logic by executing SQL queries against databases
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input throughout the development lifecycle
Perform basic testing of SharePoint-based applications, workflows, and integrations
Validate functionality, permissions, and user access scenarios as required
Create clear and engaging tutorial videos demonstrating application features and workflows
Develop and maintain help files, user guides, and FAQs
Support release documentation and user onboarding materials
Handle customer support calls related to application issues, defects, and usage questions
Troubleshoot reported issues and assist users with resolutions or escalations
Collect customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve quality and user experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
