Responsibilities
Verify embedded software from requirements through production and commercial deployment
Develop and execute test plans and deliver clear, well-documented test results
Utilize Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) assets for verification and test automation
Support automation development and troubleshoot system-level issues
Analyze and improve system efficiency, stability, and scalability
Collaborate closely with system engineers and software developers across multiple programs
Assist with project planning by reviewing requests and estimating effort and timelines
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of relevant experience in embedded software, verification, or test engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required; no 2?year degrees)
Hands?on experience with HIL, SIL, and automated testing
Strong verification and system?level testing background
Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Ability to read schematics and component datasheets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven problem?solving ability and collaborative mindset
Preferred
Experience with OPAL?RT
Background in electrification or energy storage systems
Familiarity with Vector CANape or CANalyzer
