Responsibilities
Lead the month‑end close process and ensure accurate reconciliations and journal entries
Oversee financial statement preparation, trend analysis, and management reporting
Supervise and mentor the GL, AR, and AP teams (2 direct reports and 2 indirect reports)
Build and enforce strong internal controls and efficient processes
Ensure full GAAP compliance
Manage annual audit and tax engagements
Own budget vs. actual reporting, forecasting insights, and ad‑hoc analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and investor presentation development
Oversee ERP/accounting system operations and upgrades
Develop, coach, and grow the accounting team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA required
5 – 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
Manufacturing or inventory experience required
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Advanced Excel and Access expertise
Proven leadership and team development strengths
A detail‑oriented, curious, accuracy‑driven mindset
Preferred
Master's/MBA a plus
