Responsibilities
Directs major AI initiatives, overseeing all aspects of project management to ensure deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget
Plans, develops, and implements project sequencing, integrated master schedules, identification of project dependencies, transition planning, and fielding in direct support of the design, development, and delivery of advanced machine learning (ML) models algorithms and systems
Conducts risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in AI systems
Ensures the integrity and security of data used by AI systems in crisis response operations

Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position
Submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph examination prior to your appointment
Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted
Serve a 1-year probationary period during which fitness will be evaluated
Possess information technology related experience demonstrating each of the four required competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level performing duties such as directing major Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, developing and monitoring AI models and solutions, evaluating system architecture, algorithms, and data flows to detect security and operational risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
