Responsibilities
Supports U.S. Department of State requirements in multiple overseas theaters in potentially high-threat environments
During overseas deployments, the Electronics Technician III may be required to rotate between theaters and to multiple locations within each theater
Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and testing of electronic components and systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure full operational readiness
Document maintenance actions, test results, and parts usage in accordance with contract requirements
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and security protocols
Qualification
Required
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Must have active Top Secret or higher Security clearance
Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in the technical support for modern commercial and tactical radio systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing analog and digital electronic circuits
Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Familiarity with radio repeater systems and their electronic subsystems
Excellent writing and verbal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint)
Preferred
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
Good (positive) attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team
Ability to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail
