Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines within Azure data services
Design and implement API-driven data integrations to support growing data complexity and system interoperability
Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and BI developers to enhance data models and improve reporting performance (Power BI)
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes across diverse enterprise data sources
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance to ensure high availability and reliability
Establish and enforce data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management frameworks
Lead long-term data platform strategy in collaboration with business and technology teams
Implement CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices using tools such as Git
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional Agile initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields
Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL
Deep experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and database design
Proven experience building pipelines using Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Event Hubs)
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and secure data design
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferred
Experience leading enterprise data migrations and large-scale transformations
Familiarity with Azure data governance tools such as Purview
Microsoft DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) certification
