Responsibilities
Make data analysis from production data to find gaps/error patterns/opportunities for existing system
Design, develop, integrate and test the features for B4 availability, scaling, new product introductions
Debug rootcause issues in integrated B4 ecosystem including traffic engineering and admission control
Prioritize work and ensure that incremental progress is made even if the problems at hand are difficult to solve in a short period of time
Help team members and partner teams understand the broader context, and solve the right problems at the right time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Python
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
Preferred
Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems
Experience optimizing software system performance
Experience debugging complex, distributed software systems
Experience in networking technologies/concepts such as Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Experience in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
Understanding of Internet routing technologies and router/switch telemetry
