Supervisory IT Specialist (Artificial Intelligence)

Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the AI Program, ensuring the AI Program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of the AI Program
Conducts regular reviews of financial and resource allocations to drive cost-efficiency and justify budget enhancements
Designs and implements crisis and emergency management protocols and training for the AI Program staff, while maintaining a readiness posture for such unexpected contingencies
Assigns work to subordinate employees based on organization priorities and consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments

Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position
Submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph examination prior to your appointment
Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted
May be subject to a one-year probationary period for supervisors/managers
Possess information technology related experience demonstrating each of the four required competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
You qualify for the GS-15 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level performing duties such as overseeing Artificial Intelligence (AI) all aspects of project management, implementing AI projects, and leading and coordinating work for subordinates
