Responsibilities
Write concise user stories with clear acceptance criteria and develop risk-based testing strategies
Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and design teams to discover, define, and design features that meet user needs
Gather requirements through interviews, surveys, workflow analysis, and observation; distinguish user requests from actual needs
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives
Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Design and implement test plans to verify applications meet requirements, acceptance criteria, and performance goals
Recommend and implement manual or automated testing using contemporary frameworks
Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis
Actively engage in Agile ceremonies: planning, retrospectives, demos, and daily stand-ups
Maintain a 'test to break' mindset; proactively communicate defects with solutions and work with the team to resolve issues
Arrange and perform user acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders
Develop expert knowledge of our customer base, industry trends, and product analytics
Write or review supporting documentation for the software, such as release notes, help documentation, articles, and features
Document data definitions, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams
Provide status updates to stakeholders and management
Serve as a liaison to the support staff and other departments when development-related scenarios arise
Qualification
Required
Understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, testing best/emerging practices, basic automation frameworks, tools, and processes
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
Experience with data visualization tooling
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Superior presentation and negotiation skills; able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
Clear, effective communication skills
Strong adaptability and capacity to work on multiple projects
Able to prioritize tasks according to importance and severity
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business, Communication or related field or experience as a Business and/or Quality Analyst
Strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics best practices
Experience with Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages is a plus
Understanding of the software design lifecycle and project management
