Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy agentic AI and AI assistant-style applications
Conduct AI/ML research with a strong full-stack development focus
Work with LLMs, NLP pipelines, and enterprise data platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting Lockheed Martin Space Systems initiatives
Develop scalable, production-ready AI solutions within secure environments

Required

Bachelors & 5+ YRS or Masters & 3+ YRS of experience
Experience with agentic frameworks and building agentic AI applications
Strong Python proficiency and prompt engineering for LLMs
Ability to differentiate between data models (e.g., Meta vs. OpenAI) based on project needs
Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and deploying scalable AI models
Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise databases (SAP HANA, DB2, SQL Server)
Experience building AI assistant or agentic AI products
Prior experience with Lockheed Martin data platforms (EDE, LDW, EDW) or comparable enterprise-scale environments
Relevant cloud AI / ML certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML, etc.)

Preferred

Node.js
Predictive Modeling
Knowledge or experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
