Responsibilities

Operating specialized testing vehicles with and without a trailer, and up to 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
Performing routine and periodical safety and operational checks on testing vehicles and related equipment
Performing testing duties in the absence of the crew chief

Qualification

Required

Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
One year of experience in technical engineering related work in the areas of design, traffic, construction, materials testing, engineering surveys, maintenance, or planning
Candidate must possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the state of Maryland

Preferred

Ability to operate a vehicle or equipment with and without a trailer attached to up to 26,000 lb. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
