Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry and updates in databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems
Review information for completeness and consistency and assist with correcting errors
Organize and maintain electronic files in accordance with established procedures
Assist staff with compiling information for routine reports and projects
Assist with the preparation, organization, and basic editing of audio and visual materials
Support staff with setting up, organizing, and maintaining multimedia files and assets
Help update presentations, visuals, or recordings used for internal or external purposes
Provide general support for audio and visual projects as assigned
Provide clerical, technical, and project support to systems or program staff
Follow established policies related to data security, confidentiality, and system use
Participate in training and varied assignments to gain exposure to departmental operations
Qualification
Required
Supports departmental operations by assisting professional staff with data entry, audio and visual projects, and administrative support
Performs a combination of clerical, technical, and creative support tasks to help maintain accurate records, produce basic multimedia materials, and support digital communication efforts in accordance with Los Angeles Police Department policies and standards
Provides entry-level support to systems, program, and administrative staff by performing routine data entry, assisting with audio and visual materials, and supporting the department's administrative functions
Possesses foundational computer skills and an interest in information systems, media, or digital communications
