Responsibilities
Develop and maintain weekly reporting & dashboards on key operational metrics
Lead the modernization of operations reporting to intelligent dynamic dashboards
Provide gap analysis and insights to appropriate business owners
Analyze key data / metrics to identify trends and risks, develop mitigation solutions and recommendations
Create impact maps related to external events, such as weather, and quantify the impact on the business
Present data in a format that is easy to understand and disseminate to all business levels
Provide optics and analytics on special projects for key business owners
Drive and optimize sales, gross margin, and all key expenses through business gap analysis
Provide feedback and directional recommendations to ensure execution of business recommendations
Automate current reporting and operational processes
Evaluate current data processes and tools to recommend an optimal go-forward data ecosystem
Qualification
Required
Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week
Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
Experience managing and/or testing internal controls
Candidate must be deadline driven, work well under pressure and possess the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and make appropriate recommendations for correction
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in building a service environment of cooperation, customer service and mutual respect
Strong business acumen
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business is required
Experience: 3-5+ years related job experience in Retail Operations, Project Management or Financial Operations is required
Computer Skills: Must have Advanced PowerBI, Excel and SQL skills and be proficient in ArcGIS, MS Access, Word, PowerPoint and Project
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Certifications: PowerBI (preferred)
