ServiceNow Developer | Remote Work | (Only W2)
CloudIngest is seeking a skilled and experienced Application Developer specializing in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and CMDB, Discovery. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and customization of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, particularly for clients in the financial sector, ensuring tailored solutions that enhance customer service operations.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and customization of ServiceNow ITOM solutions to meet client needs, particularly within the financial sector
Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and develop ITOM solutions that streamline customer service operations and enhance the customer experience
Participate in pre-sales activities, including gathering requirements, proposing solutions, developing estimates, and presenting ServiceNow ITSM capabilities to prospective clients
Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM reports and Dashboards to fit client specifications
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including project management, development, and testing teams
Support integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and their party databases
Provide ongoing support during post-implementation phases, addressing any issues or optimizations needed to improve system performance
Train and guide clients and internal teams on ServiceNow ITOM best practices, ensuring effective use of the platform
Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow releases and industry trends, incorporating new features and functionalities to improve ITSM solutions
Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and standards when implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions for clients in the financial sector
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow
Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
Understanding of data modeling, ACLs, and platform security
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and designing ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on ITOM (IT Operations Management)
ServiceNow ITOM certification (e.g., Discovery, Event Management)
Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
Cloud infrastructure monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proven experience in delivering ServiceNow ITOM solutions
Hands-on experience in pre-sales activities, including client engagement, requirements gathering, solutioning, and proposal development
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ITOM Certification
Hands-on experience with ITOM tools such as ServiceNow ITOM, BMC, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar
Knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks (certification preferred)
Familiarity with CMDB, event correlation, service mapping, and monitoring integrations
Experience with infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, networks, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure)
Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
