Responsibilities
Lead the development, assessment, and validation of advanced data science models using best practices and appropriate evaluation metrics
Design and implement data visualization solutions to effectively communicate complex insights to business stakeholders
Translate business requirements into actionable data science projects aligned with organizational strategy
Guide and mentor team members on modeling techniques, feature engineering, and data analysis methods
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify data sources, ensure data quality, and deploy scalable models into production environments
Monitor model performance post-deployment and recommend adjustments to maintain accuracy and robustness
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years' experience in an analytics related field
Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field
7 years' experience in an analytics or related field
Extensive expertise in data science and advanced machine learning techniques, including model assessment, validation, and tuning
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL for data analysis, model development, and deployment
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and best practices to effectively communicate complex data insights
Experience in translating business requirements into actionable data science projects aligned with strategic goals
Ability to mentor and guide team members on advanced modeling, feature engineering, and data storytelling techniques
Solid understanding of business domains and metrics to provide impactful recommendations and solutions
Demonstrated leadership in managing projects, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement
Preferred
Data science, machine learning, optimization models, PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics
Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R
Supervisory experience
Using open source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch)
