Computer Technician - Part Time
Paramount Schools of Excellence is seeking a Computer Technician to provide on-site IT hardware troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. The role involves diagnosing and resolving computer-related issues while supporting the department’s technical needs.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues on Chromebooks, walkies, and peripherals
Assist with software installation, updates, and system configurations
Perform routine maintenance, including replacing keyboards and screens
Maintain and organize IT inventory, including spare parts and equipment
Maintain and reorganize Chromebook carts
Follow company IT policies and security protocols
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
Familiarity with Chrome OS, macOS, and basic networking concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
Reliable transportation
Annual training and/or professional development is required for all PSOE employees
Preferred
Associate's degree or higher
Proficiency in using remote-control software to diagnose and fix computer problems remotely
Understanding of computer networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues
Ability to research, diagnose, and solve emerging computer-related issues
