Responsibilities
Thorough understanding of plans, specifications, and related contract documents as well as their application for project observation
Answers inquiries and complaints from residents and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Coordinates on-site testing per the contract documents
Verifies and documents materials prior to installation
Obtains measurements and detailed progress information of construction activities
Identifies potential issues and notifies Engineer or Project Manager
Leads construction and public meetings related to the assigned project with support of Engineer and Project Manager
Serves as Lead RPR with minimal supervision
Assists with mentoring team members with support from Group Leader / Sr Group Leader
Follows specific instructions with minimal supervision
Understands and complies with company mandated safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum five years of experience in civil engineering or related field
General knowledge of the construction industry
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
Ability to perform physical work (i.e. strenuous walking, lifting 50+ pounds, manhole covers, hauling field equipment, etc.)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to work the same hours as the contractor, up to 16 hours per day when indicated
