They are seeking a Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Engineer who will analyze complex problems in the Space domain and perform various modeling and simulation tasks related to orbital mechanics and telecommunications.

Responsibilities
Perform orbital mechanics modeling & simulation (M&S) (Mod/Sim) including orbit determination, orbital maneuvering, and spacecraft flight dynamics
Perform link budget, latency, and throughput analyses for RF and optical space-based relay and space-to-ground telecommunications
Perform assessments of satellite payload sensor phenomenology (optics/radar/RF) and product quality
Assess end-to-end system designs against Required Performance Parameters and identify required Technical Performance Measures
Create MS&A supporting documentation to include terms of reference, study plans, modeling assumptions, data input/output, analytic results, visualizations, and conclusions
Advise the government and contractor teams of forward-looking and follow-on studies, analyses to incorporate into a roadmap of future analytic planning
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI with polygraph
B.S. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) in engineering discipline
2+ years of relevant experience
Experience using one or more of the following: C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK
Engineering analysis (collecting, organizing, analyzing data) experience
Excellent communication skills that will allow the presentation of findings to internal and external customers
Preferred
Experience with free space optical and optical space-to-ground systems
Experience integrating MS&A and MBSE data sets using SysML
Experience developing and maintaining MBSE models
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience in the development and maintenance of MS&A tools and software
