Responsibilities
Evaluate and document current BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB practices and processes
Review ITIL processes including:
Incident Management
Service Request Management
Change Management
Configuration Management
Release & Lifecycle Management
Review and integrate lifecycle and discovery tools such as:
ADDM Discovery
Netscout
SCCM
Other CMDB-related tools
Troubleshoot and audit Incident, Change, Release, and Lifecycle processes
Ensure critical Configuration Items (CIs) are properly identified, documented, and maintained
Add, modify, and remove CIs through automation and Remedy workflows
Perform reconciliation and validation of CI relationships
Audit configuration records and dependency mapping
Identify optimization opportunities and recommend best practices
Recommend tool enhancements and process improvements
Produce documentation, workflows, diagrams, and technical artifacts
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8+ years of experience in:
BMC Remedy ARS
CMDB
ITSM
SLM
SRM
Development, customization, administration, and support
Experience with Remedy ARS, CMDB, ITSM installation and configuration (Version 18.x and above)
Experience integrating Remedy with:
ADDM
Netcool / ScienceLogic
Active Directory
Experience with Remedy Smart Reporting
Preferred
BMC Remedy Certification
ITIL Certification
Prior experience working with OTI/Public Safety City agencies
