Responsibilities
Performs laboratory materials testing such as asphaltic materials acceptance and verification, soils testing and aggregate acceptance and verification
Attends required training classes and receives on-the-job in performing materials sampling and/or testing. Keeps certifications current in Materials Testing Specialty areas
Assists the ET 7 with the materials quality assurance documentation program by maintaining an accurate and thorough inventory of all materials samples
May be required to perform other duties as necessary including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities
Qualification
Required
Possession of a high school diploma or GED
Six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy mobile equipment operation, or mobile equipment maintenance
Benefits
This position is eligible for premium pay for every hour worked: Engineering Technician 1-4 - $2.00/hour
