Responsibilities
Shift-Left Strategy & SME Ownership: Act as the product SME, participating in refinement sessions to define Acceptance Criteria and identify edge cases before a single line of code is written
Full-Stack Automation: Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and Mobile applications, primarily using Python
Backend & API Excellence: Architect robust testing strategies for backend systems using Postman, GraphQL, and automated JSON schema validation
CI/CD Integration & Reporting: Ownership of the continuous testing pipeline, ensuring automated suites provide immediate feedback and high-visibility reporting to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to lead quality for entire features or projects with minimal supervision and a strong 'system-design' mindset
Advanced proficiency in Python
Expert-level experience with Playwright
Solid understanding of Postman for API testing
Demonstrated experience in fast-paced Agile environments where QA leads the quality conversation during the planning phase
Deep understanding of how to test complex backend architectures, including GraphQL and RESTful services
Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor peers effectively
Preferred
Full-Stack Automation using Playwright and TypeScript
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience with Selenium for supporting or migrating existing suites
Familiarity with testing software that interacts with physical devices or specialized hardware prototypes
Experience with tools like k6 or JMeter to identify system bottlenecks
