Responsibilities
Install diagnostic imaging equipment effectively and efficiently
Assist/perform preventive maintenance and calibrations per equipment specifications and standards
Interact with customers to identify customer issues/needs, maintaining excellent customer relations
Properly troubleshoot, diagnose and service multiple products in one or more modalities
Answer technical and applications questions for internal and external customers and escalate to appropriate person if necessary
Improve personal productivity by enhancing product knowledge and skill set through formal and on the job training
Provide accurate and timely service reports, part orders, part returns, timecards, and expense reports and all other required reports
Respond to colleagues in a timely manner with ordinary courtesy (Service Support, Finance, Sales, etc.); maintain frequent contact with manager to present information or recommendations
Qualification
Required
Two-year post-secondary degree or certificate in electronic technology or equivalent training
Minimum of three years work experience, preferably in digital imaging field or experience in a specific modality
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated ability in the use of hand and power tools
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Must be a self-starter who is able to work both independently and in a team environment, willing to travel overnights as needed, and be available for calls during off-hours
Perform specialized or technical work with unclear guidelines. Work is often analytical and involved, requiring judgment where policies and methods are not well-established
Ability to independently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred, experience with CT a plus
