Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain API-first backend services that power trading, settlement, and digital asset platform functionality
Develop and document scalable, secure RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern engineering best practices
Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across API services and production environments
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver API-driven features and integrations
Support and maintain integrations with internal systems, partners, and third-party platforms
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve system design and code quality
Learn and apply best practices for secure, high-performance, and scalable API architectures
Leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and deployment agents, to improve productivity and code quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
0–2 years of professional software development experience (internships included)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or similar)
Experience using the latest AI agents for software development, testing and deployment
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
Basic understanding of Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Preferred
Experience building or integrating with API-driven financial systems, trading platforms, or fintech products
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including deploying and managing backend services
Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Basic understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, or tokenized financial products
Experience working in an agile development environment with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with modern development workflows, including AI-assisted coding, testing, or deployment tools
