Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution of the functional safety program across a complex, multi-vendor ecosystem
Drive integrated planning, delivery tracking, and alignment across internal teams and external partners
Establish execution frameworks spanning safety requirements, V&V activities, interface definitions, safety analyses, and certification milestones
Define and manage the critical path toward system safety goals and certification
Act as the central coordination point across hardware, software, systems engineering, compliance, validation, vendors, and certification bodies
Enable structured collaboration, decision-making, and cross-functional program alignment
Identify risks, resourcing gaps, and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies
Introduce scalable processes, governance, and operational rigor to improve predictability and execution maturity

Required

Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager delivering complex hardware or safety-critical systems
Familiarity with functional safety standards and certification processes in AV/Robotics
Experience managing multi-vendor engineering programs with significant cross-functional dependencies
Strong ability to operate in ambiguous or greenfield environments and build structures where none exists
Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and execution leadership skills
