Responsibilities
Drive the long-term vision and technical strategy for critical areas of NexHealth’s platform
Hire, grow, and retain top engineering talent; mentor emerging leaders; and foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation
Own the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring clear alignment between product goals and technical execution
Partner with Product, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
Guide system architecture, scalability, and maintainability across product domains; champion best practices in code quality, testing, reliability, and security
Shape organizational structures, career paths, and team processes to promote high performance and strong engineering culture
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing managers or larger organizations
Exceptional people leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching and developing engineers and managers
Deep experience delivering complex, customer-facing software at scale
Strong judgment in balancing product velocity with long-term technical quality
Demonstrated ability to define and drive both technical and organizational roadmaps
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, able to partner fluidly with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams
A builder mindset with experience scaling teams and systems in fast-paced environments
Strong ownership and initiative in ambiguous, evolving contexts
Bias for action grounded in data-driven decision making
First-principles thinking applied to technical and organizational challenges
Deep care for people development, team health, and culture
Alignment with NexHealth's core values and mission
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
