Responsibilities

Design and develop high‑quality Core Software architecture and applications for Flight Management Systems
Integrate FMS software into new product development and platform upgrades
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define and refine software requirements
Implement robust software solutions focused on performance, security, scalability, and reliability
Conduct code reviews and mentor team members with constructive technical feedback
Perform software testing and integration using lab test benches and simulation tools
Stay current with modern engineering practices, tools, and industry trends

Qualification

Required

8+ years of software development experience in Flight Management Systems
Strong proficiency in C++ and object‑oriented programming
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
Strong background in software architecture and design

Preferred

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience in embedded systems software development
Knowledge of multi-core / multi-threaded programming
Strong understanding of OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis & Design)
Experience with aviation standards such as DO‑178C
Verification & Validation experience using C++
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills
Passion for continuous learning and technical excellence
