Workforce Development Coordinator
Vallourec - North America is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator who will design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees across multiple manufacturing sites. This role focuses on skill development, safety, and career progression while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Responsibilities
Partners with HR, Operations leadership, and Training & Development Business Partner, and subject matter experts to align training initiatives with business goals and ensure consistent delivery across all sites
Analyzes training data, forecasts need, and reports metrics using tools such as Excel, LMS, and Power BI
Identifies, develops, designs, and implements programs using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices that ensure consistent execution across all locations
Responsible for scheduling training sessions, coordinating trainers, creating and customizing training materials, and conducting virtual or in person training sessions to support learning
Evaluates training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, recommending appropriate solutions to close skill gaps
Collaborates with subject matter experts design or refine learning content, track, engage, and encourage employee progress through the training programs
Manages learning management system (LMS) activities including curriculum creation assignment of learning objects, site navigation support, and ensuring accurate recording of training records
Establishes and nurtures relationships with external stakeholders to identify innovative training methodologies and ensure training programs reflect emerging workforce development trends
Assist in cross-functional projects and provide support across departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years in workforce development, training coordination, or instructional design within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Ability to apply logical analysis and reasoning skills to develop optimal scheduling plans for training classes to include forecasting training needs
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing and behaviorally with all levels of the organization
Ability to interpret various subjects and turn them into trainings
Ability to coordinate and facilitate training
Ability to understand the basic objectives of each job and training session
Ability to work independently and execute objectives in cross functional team environment
Must be willing and able to assist in all areas as necessary
Ability to effectively work with complex data such as work schedules, shift rotations, training schedules, etc
Ability to think critically, analyze training and report training metrics
Demonstrated attention to detail
Preferred
Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience a plus
Articulate 360 skills a plus
Experience using Power BI a plus
