This role involves managing heavy inventory, prepping orders for job sites, and making deliveries to ensure customers receive their materials on time.

Responsibilities
Load and unload concrete reinforcement products (rebar, mesh, forms) and steel products manually or via forklift
Operate flatbed trucks to deliver materials to active construction sites. Ensure all loads are secured properly for transit
Organize inventory in our open-air yard and warehouse. Maintain a clean, safe, and navigable environment
Ensure proper weight distribution and tie-down techniques, specifically for heavy or awkward construction materials
Act as the face of Dalaco Steel when making deliveries or assisting with customer pickups in the yard
Work comfortably in an outdoor/open-air warehouse environment across all seasons and weather conditions
Support inside sales & rebar fabrication teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Valid CDL required
Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 lbs and navigate a busy construction-supply yard
Experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery is a major plus
Prior experience in concrete, masonry, or construction materials is highly valued
Basic math for order fulfillment and the ability to read tape measures/spec sheets accurately
A 'get-it-done' attitude and a commitment to safety and punctuality
Preferred
Class A preferred, but we are open to Class B or C candidates with strong driving records
Certifications preferred for operating forklifts or heavy machinery
