Engineering Design & Systems Specialist
Trebor International is seeking a detail-oriented and technically driven Engineering Design & Systems Specialist to support engineering design and manufacturing requirements for high-purity pump and heater technologies. The role involves driving engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing technical documentation and standards.

Responsibilities
Independently drive engineering projects of small to large scope, from concept through implementation
Participate in internal design reviews, prototype builds, and production launch for new or modified products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support transition of products from R&D early phase gates to robust manufacturing implementation
Participate in major process validations and engineering changes; author test protocols, analyze results, and recommend implementation paths
Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to align on technical solutions and ensure successful implementation
Design, model, and release, components, subassemblies, and assemblies per internal engineering standards and procedures, utilizing CAD and SolidWorks
Coordinate design and drafting efforts, to provide oversight and standards compliance, to ensure that the necessary details follow established standards
Create and implement drawing guidelines, title blocks, policies and procedures
Create Engineering Change (EC) requests with supporting documentation and drive through to implementation
Author, maintain and enforce engineering documentation and standards
Develop and implement robust engineering standards, best practices, and design guidelines across all technologies
Manage the creation of clear, well-written technical support documentation, including product renderings, spec sheets, and product manuals
Identify and implement improvements to processes and workflows to enhance Operations ease-of-use and reduce variation
Analyze business needs and requirements to drive improvements in the engineering-owned data within ERP (BoMs, routings, configuration, and related metadata)
Input and ensure bill of materials (BoM) and routings are accurately reflected within the ERP system
Support and enable the engineering portion of each phase of the product lifecycle management
Utilize PLM software to manage product information, CAD and SolidWorks data, and engineering changes
Support product evolution from launch, through growth, to eventual retirement, reducing costs and maximizing value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred; other technical degrees or equivalent industry experience will be considered based on relevance to the role
Experience in writing technical documentation and demonstratable proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement and problem solving
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical content and interact with internal teams, external partners, and customers
Self-driven and adaptable, with strong project ownership and cross-functional teamwork skills
