Responsibilities

Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) on test and field data, prepare clear reports, and recommend corrective actions
Apply Weibull, exponential, and other statistical models to predict component and system reliability
Assist in designing and executing environmental, vibration, thermal, and life cycle tests; collect and interpret data
Maintain reliability databases (e.g., MIL HDBK 217, FMEA) and ensure traceability of test results
Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, providing reliability input and highlighting potential risk areas
Contribute to the development of reliability standards, procedures, and best practice documentation
Work with suppliers, manufacturing, and quality groups to ensure reliability goals are met across the supply chain

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Strong problem solving skills; ability to interpret complex test data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Effective written and oral communication; ability to produce clear technical reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams
Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizen or permanent resident required)
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment

Preferred

Internship or co op experience on aerospace or missile systems
Knowledge in statistics, binomial events, population comparisons, or design of experiments
Knowledge of MIL STD 1629, MIL HDBK 217, or similar defense reliability standards
