Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process data from various sources
Support the creation and optimization of data storage solutions, including data lakes and warehouses
Work with large and complex datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to understand data needs and requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure efficient and error-free data processing
Work with Database engineers to understand the infrastructure that backends data platforms
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or Java
Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data modeling concepts
Understanding of big data tools or cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Apache Spark) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Familiarity with tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Studio, Azure Data Lake
Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB, CouchDB)
Interest in learning about data governance, privacy, and security
