Summer Intern - Data Coordinator for Immigration Legal Services
The Michigan Advocacy Program is seeking undergraduate and other non-law graduate interns to join their Data Team for a summer internship in 2026. Interns will assist with data entry tasks and collaborate on Data-related projects, contributing to the mission of providing legal services to immigrants and enhancing reporting efficiency.

Responsibilities
Responsible for a small amount of data entry tasks
Assisting with Data Team projects
Conducting their own Data-related projects in collaboration with other teams
Qualification
Required
Applicants must reside in the state of Michigan while working for MAP
Current undergraduate or non-law graduate student with an interest in data and the U.S immigration system
Preferred
Preference for current study in Statistics, Data Science, Political Science, Computer Science, Macro Social Work, or related field
Benefits
Students and casual employees will earn sick time pursuant to Michigan’s Earned Sick Time Act (“ESTA”). Under the ESTA, sick leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked.
