Proposal Material Program Manager

Responsibilities

Support program proposal kickoffs and strategy development
Generate and/or collect necessary documentation for successful kickoff
Support RFP kickoffs with subcontract managers and support RFP alignment reviews with suppliers
Ensure proposal compliance with DFAR/FAR and TINA
Develop and execute supply chain proposal strategies and plans
Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans
Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Monitor proposal performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
Support all gate reviews, program reviews, and risk and opportunity management reviews
Obtain Material Program Management certification level 4 within 1 year of employment
Lead budget and financial management efforts

Required

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain role
Experience in finance, cost estimations, business or performance analysis, and/or accounting
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Master's degree in business, Finance, Management, or Supply Chain
Material Program Manager certified
Experience with MRP systems and/or tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS
