Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly, cleaning, bead blasting, deburring, and final inspection on glass-to-metal seal and cover manufacturing lines
Load and unload parts from furnaces and ovens
Use microscopes to build and inspect parts
Use calipers and mechanical instruments to take measurements
Understand and follow assembly drawings, written, and verbal work instructions
Do basic math and apply it to specifications
Work with supervisors and engineers to ensure flow of production and report issues that affect the product quality and equipment performance
Qualification
Required
At least two (2) years of glass-to-metal seal assembly and bead blasting experience
At least two (2) years of working under a microscope
High school diploma or GED
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in problem solving when process and quality issues come up
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or an individual who has protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
