Responsibilities
Plan and execute SQL Server database migrations and upgrades
Support application database modernization efforts
Perform database administration tasks including setup, configuration, and maintenance
Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes
Monitor and tune database performance
Manage database security including roles, permissions, encryption, and auditing
Support and maintain SSIS packages and data integration processes
Work with developers and business teams to ensure smooth migration with minimal downtime
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA
1+ year of experience in database migration (versions/platforms)
Strong Backup and Restore experience (5+ years)
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Strong T-SQL skills
Experience managing database security (roles, permissions, encryption)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Preferred
Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) implementation
PowerShell scripting for automation
Any SQL Server certifications are a plus
