The Senior Transportation Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting freight movement within the US Transportation function, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products across the supply chain while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and support freight moves within the US transportation network, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines and quality standards
Conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, perform comprehensive data analysis, and generate actionable insights to improve delivery performance and reduce logistics costs
Establish and maintain open communication channels with distribution centers and carrier partners to facilitate collaboration and streamline operations
Monitor carrier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), host weekly operational review calls, and address any operational issues proactively
Execute ad hoc transportation analyses, identify opportunities for cost savings, and lead continuous improvement projects
Manage claims processing and resolve billing discrepancies by working closely with carriers and freight audit/pay teams
Identify operational bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to meet service commitments
Coordinate urgent shipments and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools is essential
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex business concepts clearly to diverse audiences
An agile mindset, adaptability to changing environments, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical attributes for success in this role
Preferred
A minimum of three years of experience in operations or supply chain management is preferred
Familiarity in ERP systems such as JDE and analytics platforms like Tableau considered advantageous
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers is highly valued
