Learning & Development Intern

Johnson Screens, a brand of Aqseptence Group, is seeking a Learning & Development Intern to support the design, development, and modernization of training content. The role offers hands-on project work and opportunities to learn about corporate training in a global manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

Assist in updating and converting existing learning content to align with global use cases and organizational standards
Support the design and development of eLearning modules, job aids, and other training materials using instructional design best practices
Participate in content localization efforts to ensure learning materials are accessible and effective for global audiences
Help transition legacy content from Microsoft Publisher into Adobe InDesign
Participate in the development of the Johnson Screens version of SafeStart training
Support basic Learning Management System (LMS) administration tasks, including content uploads, testing, and reporting
Collaborate onsite with L&D team members and subject matter experts to review, revise, and improve training materials
Support project coordination and documentation as needed

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
Demonstrated interest in learning and development and adult learning principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to follow established standards and templates
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE
Experience or coursework related to eLearning development
Exposure to tools such as Articulate Rise or Storyline, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar design tools
Comfort learning and adapting to new software and technology platforms
Interest in global learning, localization, or content standardization
