Responsibilities
Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate security risks across AI/ML systems, APIs, and application architectures
AI/ML Security: Safeguard models against adversarial attacks, data poisoning, prompt injection, model inversion, and intellectual property theft
Secure SDLC Integration: Embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, peer reviews, and development workflows
Application Security Reviews: Perform manual and automated assessments for web, mobile, and backend applications
Tooling & Automation: Design and integrate AI-powered tools for static/dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, and anomaly detection
Security Enablement: Mentor developers and data scientists in secure coding and AI system hardening
Incident Response: Support investigations and remediation of security incidents affecting AI systems or applications
Strategic Contribution: Help shape the roadmap for AI security initiatives and continuous improvement of security posture
Qualification
Required
5+ years in application security, with 1–2 years focused on AI/ML
Proficient in secure coding and vulnerability management (OWASP Top 10)
Understanding of adversarial ML, model robustness, and data privacy techniques
Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA and Container Scanning tools, fuzzers, and model auditing solutions
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Minimum: Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred
8 years of experience in application security
Masters in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
