In this role, you will create designs and technical drawings for chemical dispense systems and blending equipment, working closely with engineers to improve manufacturing systems and support the assembly floor.

Responsibilities
Use SolidWorks to create and modify mechanical drawings from concepts and "red-lined" documents
Create and maintain mechanical area layouts
Read, edit, and create Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), schematics
Follow and contribute to mechanical design “Best Practices”
Create and review mechanical Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and aid in mechanical components recommendations according to selection standards
Initiate, update, and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and process documentation
Interface directly with production employees to resolve design issues on as needed
Work in conjunction with the engineering team to ensure implementation of customer specification, plus aid in design reviews
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in equipment design, industrial machinery, or related industries
Associate's degree in a Mechanical Engineering related field
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Strong ability to read and create/edit P&IDs, schematics, and other product documentation
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production
Preferred
Proficiency in SolidWorks (CSWA/CSWP preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
Experience with Agile/PLM systems
Semiconductor equipment experience
