Responsibilities
All urgent requests are handled in a timely manner
Repairs are made correctly and completely
Installs, expands, troubleshoots, and maintains building automation systems, ensures data based generation of critical equipment records are up to date and recorded
Is capable of using graphic programming language, ladder logic and HVAC Pro software, in hospital building automation system
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots facilities building automation system either net. and N2 network
Has a general knowledge of the operations and functions of the hospital addressable fire system
Tests, repairs, and maintains the hospital fire and smoke dampers, and maintains all records of tests and repairs
Shop and mechanical rooms are kept clean and free of unnecessary items
The Maintenance Manager is to be informed on all projects so that appropriate communications can be maintained with other departments
Additional training and/or self-development is required to maintain and update skills necessary to operate and repair current and new equipment
Suggestions for improvement of equipment or management policies are to be made to the Maintenance Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints
Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
One (1) to Two (2) Years Previous HVAC Experience preferred
