Adult Day Services Program Supervisor
Easterseals Redwood is a leading human service provider dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and other challenges. They are seeking an Adult Day Services Program Supervisor to oversee facility-based programming in Kentucky, ensuring compliance with staffing and regulatory requirements while providing support and training to staff.
Civic & Social Organization
Responsibilities
Directly supervises Adult Services Co-leads and DSPs in Kentucky to ensure policy and procedure are followed appropriately
Ensures Adult Services program rooms are appropriately staffed based on ratio and program needs
Handles and tracks all Co-lead and DSP PTO requests, call ins, and occurrences of tardiness. Works with the clinical manager to provide progressive discipline when necessary
Provides direct support in program rooms when coverage dictates
Monitors that staff have relevant knowledge of program participants through review of files, assessments, individualized objectives, and performance data
Holds staff accountable for maintaining and providing accurate and timely service documentation
Supports high quality staff performance through observation, coaching, training or other resources and methods that provide explanations of how work is to be performed
Leads or conducts all required initial and annual training of program staff, as required by regulation, to include individualized instruction on the needs of adults to whom the employee provides services and supports
Provides training and implements safety precautions and procedures to assure the safety of adults and staff
Oversees completion of incident reporting and collaborates with Director, Adult Services (KY) to notify regulatory bodies when required by licensing standards or by law
Pulls and provides the billing department with participant payroll information from Vocational Day Training monthly
Monitors, collects, and provides to billing lunch payments for participants in the Vocational Day Training program
Maintains contracts between ESRW and companies that provide work for participants in Vocational Day Training. Works with the Clinical Manager to complete time studies when necessary
Explores new work opportunities for Vocational Day Training. Maintains healthy relationships with current partners
Provides inspiration and encouragement to staff to enhance tenure and maintain high quality services
Monitors services are provided in compliance with policy and procedural manuals for the program
Ensures that all programs are conducted in an ethical manner in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation requirements, agency policies, and business integrity standards
Learns, accepts, and follows risk management procedures and recommendations
Supports maintenance of Adult Service licensures by supervising accurate and timely record production
Complies with health policies/procedures. Provides training and implements safety precautions and procedures to assure the safety of adults and staff
Maintains and manages the Vocational Day Training dock including the tracking of shipping and receiving for the Ft. Mitchell campus
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years' experience in the disability services area
High school Diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in special education, social work or other relevant human service field
