They are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide support for manufacturing software applications and assist in the coordination of capital projects within a high-speed printing environment.

Responsibilities
Provides recommendations on upgrades and high level support for all manufacturing applications including internally engineered systems and machine vision
Supports operations and maintenance staff with diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment, while maintaining company safety standards
Regularly seeks information from all levels of the workforce and reviews challenges; actively participates in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to identify effective and sustained solutions
Assist in the roll out, training and support of manufacturing software applications and systems
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (with 3 – 5 years' related experience)
3 – 5 years' related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience in troubleshooting technical problems and maintaining and tracking inventorying of supplies
Ability to ensure projects are completed to plan (Budget, timeline, etc)
Maintains existing software and provides input to ensure cost effective software solutions are developed
Ensures safe work practices are adhered to in the performance of own work and direction of work of others
Innovative problem-solver with ability to generate workable solutions, troubleshoot issues and resolve complaints
Must be reliable and responsible to work independently and be self-motivated to complete tasks without direct supervision
Preferred
4-year degree in Computer Science
