Responsibilities

Maintain and operate network security platforms including:

Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

Firewall policy compliance tools (AlgoSec)

Firewall management systems

Administer and support the global Cisco ISE platform, including:

Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA)

802.1X network access control across wired and wireless environments

Support the network privileged ID framework for controlled access to corporate network devices

Collaborate with network, network security, and endpoint teams to ensure seamless integration and policy enforcement

Identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive tasks using:

Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs

Manage and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation deployment

Monitor system health, performance, and logs; respond to alerts and incidents

Perform change management for supported platforms

Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical issues

Assess security advisories and vulnerabilities and implement required remediation

Follow-the-sun on-call rotation (APAC / North America, weekdays & weekends)

Each team member participates in one-week on-call rotations

Required

Experience with Fortinet and Cisco Network Security technologies, including: Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), AlgoSec, Cisco Security Manager, Cisco Firepower Management Center, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer

Strong experience with network authentication technologies: 802.1X, TACACS, RADIUS

Proficiency in troubleshooting network access and authentication issues

Knowledge of network endpoint profiling

Basic experience with AWS cloud technologies (EC2, VPC)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Hands-on experience with automation and scripting: Python, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub

Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Team-oriented, proactive mindset in a global virtual team

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
